I've been discussing the concept of following your inner compass with Alexandra Mateus recently, you might not know where you want to go in life, but if you have a set of values to guide you, your inner compass, will ensure you don't stray off course.
I feel very strongly that I might not know exactly where I'm going, but because I've got a set of core values, I won't go too far off course and I'll end up somewhere positive as long as I keep moving.
Thank you Mark! 🤍 I totally agree—it's about the journey, not the destination. I've learned that some of the greatest things that happen in our life are those that we don't anticipate or plan for. Instead of worrying about the future, I want to focus on today, having fun and going where my curiosity leads me.
Other people might not understand it and even call it "impractical" but we don't owe them an explanation. What's important is that we follow our inner compass instead of worrying about what other people would think. We don’t need anyone’s approval to be ourselves and live how we want to 😊
As long as it makes you happy, or is something that puts you on the path to happiness, go where the compass leads. It might take you to the odd dead end, but it will end in a lesson you needed to learn!
The other people might not understand at first, but you can teach them with your writing, then maybe they will.
Definitely 💯 I respect and gain so much inspiration from people who find that courage to break out of the mold and follow their own path ✨ I think deep inside, we all desire that freedom to just be ourselves and speak our truth without worrying about what other people would think of us

For me at least, there is a swag in being uncommon, challenging others beliefs & showing bitter reality. Are you with me on this?
